Laville Braille & Tactile

About us

Making culture accessible to all without simplifying it: this conviction has driven Laville Braille & Tactile since 2002.

As a specialized workshop serving museums and cultural sites across France and Europe, we design and produce tactile media that invite visitors to discover, understand, and engage with artworks, places, and knowledge through the sense of touch.

Far from a basic embossed image, tactile graphics require clear graphic interpretation: the goal is to make the composition of an image and the message it conveys tactilely readable.

To achieve this, our team brings together graphic designers, cultural outreach specialists, and printers in the very same workshop — from initial concept to production.

Initially designed for blind and visually impaired visitors, our tactile displays enrich the experience for all audiences, fostering a shared cultural journey.
