An overview of all the important dates and times for exhibitors concerning registration, stand allocation and construction periods can be found on our website.

Please be sure to observe the specific registration deadlines for each service or procedure. Processing of the various orders often happens at the same time, which is why each form must be submitted separately.

How can I register as an exhibitor at MUTEC?

All stand spaces at MUTEC 2026 are currently fully booked. Interested exhibitors may, however, join the waiting list until 30 September 2026.

Stand registration and waiting list

Do I have to register co-exhibitors or an additionally represented company?

Co-exhibitors and companies additionally represented at the stand must be registered by the main exhibitor.

Registration should be completed together with the main exhibitor’s online registration. You can add further registrations via your online registration.

A fee is payable for each co-exhibitor and each additionally represented company. Please refer to the Special Conditions of Participation (PDF, 211 kB) for prices.

As the main exhibitor, you will receive one free exhibitor pass for each co-exhibitor. Co-exhibitors are listed in the exhibitor directory. The basic marketing package fee is payable for each co-exhibitor.

Please note that exhibitors are not entitled to sublet the stand allocated to them to third parties, make it available in any other way or advertise on behalf of third-party companies without the permission of Leipziger Messe (see also General Conditions of Participation (PDF, 161 kB) ).

Why does Leipziger Messe charge a fee for the basic marketing package?

The basic marketing package includes the following services:

  • Basic listing in the online exhibitor directory with a mood image (company, address, contact person, links to website and social media channels, assignment to two product groups, one product presentation, assignment to themed areas)
  • Listing in the fold-out map distributed during the event (editorial deadline: 15 September 2026)
  • Provision of a promotional code for inviting an unlimited number of trade visitors at the discounted price of €12.00 instead of €24.00. The trade visitors are responsible for paying the price.
  • Provision of various promotional materials (see Marketing & PR )

Billing is handled via the main exhibitor. The basic marketing package, costing €210.00 net, is mandatory for main exhibitors and co-exhibitors.

Important note:

Leipziger Messe GmbH alone is responsible for and actively handles the marketing, processing and publication of media listings. Other publishers that offer or publish similar directories are not authorised by Leipziger Messe GmbH.

When will I get the invoice for my exhibition rental?

The invoice for your exhibition rental will be issued by Leipziger Messe GmbH approximately 6 weeks before the start of the trade fair. During registration, you can choose to have your invoice sent by email and enter a central billing address for your company or institution.

Invoices for services will be issued around 4 weeks after the trade fair.

You will have 4 weeks to dispute the invoice from the date of issue.

Can I cancel my registration?

The exhibitor must notify Leipziger Messe in writing if they withdraw their registration.

If the exhibitor withdraws before admission, the cancellation fee is €410.00 net.

Please also note our General Conditions of Participation (PDF, 161 kB) and Special Conditions of Participation (PDF, 211 kB) .

What should I do if my address changes?

If your contact and address details change, please inform Leipziger Messe GmbH immediately in writing by email to a.schliefke@leipziger-messe.de.

Please note that we will charge you a processing fee of EUR 25.00 for a change of address after the invoice has been issued.

Stand planning

What happens after registering as an exhibitor?

Following exhibitor registration, you will promptly receive your confirmation of admission and stand allocation, including your stand number and login details. You can then book all additional services through our Online Shop for exhibitors .

These include:

  • Stand construction/stand equipment
  • Technical services such as electricity/water installation
  • Scan2Lead/lead tracking
  • Exhibitor passes (free and paid)
  • Parking
  • Stand cleaning
  • and much more.

Please submit all orders and applications for approval in good time. From 8 October 2026, a 15% late surcharge will apply to selected services.

What communications infrastructure is available at the stand (e.g. Wi-Fi)?

Free Wi-Fi (SSID: Leipziger Messe) is available on the grounds of Leipziger Messe while MUTEC is open. The maximum bandwidth is 4 Mbit/s.

Please note that operating your own Wi-Fi network is permitted only to a limited extent and requires prior registration. Exhibitor Wi-Fi is available as an alternative. For internet access at your stand, however, we recommend a wired internet connection (LAN) with high bandwidth and availability.

Guidelines for your own Wi-Fi network:

  • Every private Wi-Fi network must be registered.
  • This also includes hotspots from mobile phones, smartphones, tablets, GigaCubes or similar devices.
  • The trade fair will assign a channel to these Wi-Fi networks; only the 2.4 GHz band is permitted.
  • As channels cannot be assigned on mobile phones, smartphones and tablets, and these devices often transmit only in the 5 GHz band, operating a hotspot is prohibited.
  • Stand staff must have the login details for the Wi-Fi access point available so that its configuration can be changed in the event of interference.

Guidelines for exhibitor Wi-Fi:

  • SSID: LM-Exhibitor
  • Login via WPA2 Enterprise using a username and password; Leipziger Messe will specify the login details.
  • Broadcast exclusively in the 5 GHz band

Mobile payments:

  • For trouble-free operation, we recommend using a wired internet connection wherever possible.
  • Alternatively, mobile devices may use a mobile network connection. Use payment terminals with an integrated mobile modem or Bluetooth, such as SumUp. Smartphone hotspots cannot be used.

If you have any questions, please contact Anne Lachnitt: a.lachnitt@leipziger-messe.de

Click on www.leipziger-messe.de/customerlogin and follow the "forgot password" link. On the following page, you will be asked to enter your username or the company email address of the main exhibitor. Access is via your user account. The "user" data is sent to all main exhibitors together with the stand allocation. After you have requested a password, you will receive an email with temporary access data. Please note that for technical reasons, this email will be sent to the company email address of the registered main exhibitor and not to the person responsible for the trade fair or the member of staff who has asked for the access data. Please always observe our technical guidelines (PDF, 570 kB) and the fire safety requirements on the exhibition grounds.

Approval of your planned stand is handled through a partly automated process. This enables you to submit the necessary information about your planned stand conveniently and with minimal effort. You will then be informed of the requirements associated with safe operation.

Our Event Technology team will send you an email containing a link to a separate questionnaire and a password. After registering for the first time with this one-time password, we recommend setting up a personalised password so that you can save your data temporarily and continue working on it later. Please complete the entries by 12 October 2026.

The checks required under the operator’s responsibilities during the set-up, dismantling and event phases to ensure compliance with the Technical Guidelines and relevant laws, regulations and provisions remain an important part of the safe operation of the venue.
