Mr Joachim Ludwig, born in 1961, studied "Technology of Scientific Instrumentation" at the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena from 1983 and graduated as an engineer in 1988. From 2011 to 2012, he completed postgraduate studies at the University of St. Gallen as part of the HSG diploma programme to become a technology entrepreneur (TU-HSG).
After his studies in Jena, Mr Ludwig worked for the company Carl Zeiss Jena and JENOPTIK-Infab. His field of work was in particular the development of large-scale photolithographic equipment, especially in the area of clean room technology.
In 1995 Mr Ludwig founded his first own company.
During this time, more than 15 patents and utility models, a large number of publications in technical journals and lectures at technical events at home and abroad were created. At the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences in Zwickau, Mr Ludwig lectures in the field of cleanroom technology.
In addition to his work, he is active in several committees. Particularly noteworthy here are his commitments to the standardisation of cleanroom technology:
- Working group "Cleanroom-compatible design" and "Cleanroom-compatible manufacturing".

- DIN Working Group "Microsystems
Joachim Ludwig has been married for more than 39 years, is the father of three children and a grandfather.
Program Items
The lecture deals with the protection of exhibits in showcases and separate exhibition areas from damaging contamination as well as the optimisation of cleaning intervals.
