Vita

Studied ethnology, political science and cultural geography at the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Magister 1997; doctorate 2003 at the Georg August University Göttingen; 1997-1999 scientific traineeship at the Lower Saxony State Museum Hanover/ Ethnology; since 2004 freelance work as ethnologist, scientific author and editor; 2008-2009 ethnologist at the Lübeck Museums/Völkerkundesammlung; since 2006 active in the project "Security and Disaster Prevention for Museums, Archives and Libraries" of the Conference of National Cultural Institutions, since 2008 as project leader; author SiLK chapter General Security Management; since 2014 member of the German mirror committee to CEN/TC 346 "Conservation of Cultural Heritage".
