Birgit Tellmann

Birgit Tellmann studied art history and German language and literature (MA) and works in the Education Department at the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany (Bundeskunsthalle), where her responsibilities include inclusive supporting programmes, participation and accessibility, as well as audio-visual tours. She was the project manager for the projects ‘Pilot Inclusion. Development of a Modular Outreach Concept for Inclusive Education in Museums (2015–2017) and ‘Inclusion Network: How Can Exhibitions and Museums Become Inclusive?’ (2018–2023). Since 2011, she has been spokesperson for the Inclusion and Diversity Working Group at the Federal Association for Museum Education (Bundesverband Museumspädagogik e.V.).
