Vita

Lena Wigger is a consultant for inclusive design at werk5 | new craft. After studying communication design at the Muthesius Academy of Fine Arts in Kiel, she worked for several years as an exhibition designer at a scenography studio in Berlin. She has since specialised in inclusive design. At werk5, she collaborates with museums and exhibition agencies to design inclusive objects and exhibits. She advises on initial ideas, develops concrete concepts and oversees the process right through to the finished object, which is produced in-house.

Using the example of the new permanent exhibition at the Haus der Geschichte Bonn, this talk demonstrates how inclusive exhibition solutions can be integrated into the design, developed collaboratively and brought together to create a cohesive experience for all visitors.
