Vita

Alexander Philipp is Head of the Office for Fire and Disaster Protection for the City of Weimar. He joined the professional fire service in 1997 and, after holding various management positions, took over as Head of the Weimar Fire Service in 2011. He has a long history of collaboration with cultural heritage institutions in the city of Weimar and extensive operational and strategic experience in the protection of cultural property. Mr Alexander Philipp chairs the Working Group of Heads of Professional Fire Services in Thuringia and is the central point of contact for the protection of cultural property within the nationwide network of the AGBF-Bund.
