Ralf Seeber

Vita

Ralf Seeber was a professional firefighter until August 2019 and served for over 28 years as a watch commander and operations manager with the Weimar Professional Fire Brigade. He then moved to the fire safety and emergency preparedness department of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar. As a freelance consultant for Kulturrat Thüringen e.V. and as a speaker in Germany and Austria, he shares his expertise on emergency preparedness in cultural institutions and on emergency response networks. He is also a lecturer at the Federal Academy for Civil Protection and Civil Defence (BABZ) on the ‘Specialist Adviser on Cultural Heritage Protection’ course. His main areas of focus are the development and delivery of training courses on emergency preparedness, as well as the planning and implementation of the material foundations of cultural heritage protection, including equipment kits and service vehicles for cultural heritage protection.
