Confident communication using AI: visitor-centred, inclusive, budget-neutral

11:30 AM - 12:00 PM Thu, 05 Nov

Short description

Used correctly, AI creates real added value for visitors and museums. Museum teams work continuously, in a visitor-centred way and without impacting the budget – thereby creating more accessible, inclusive and personalised visitor experiences.
nuseum.ai demonstrates how this works using specific real-world examples and measurable KPIs – from the Salzburg Museum to the Secession.

Description

Whether AI adds value in museum education does not depend on whether it is used, but on how it is used. Used correctly, it empowers museum teams: they work continuously and iteratively rather than on one-off projects – with a visitor-centred approach and independently of budgets and external service providers. Julian Harbort, founder of nuseum.ai , uses concrete practical examples to demonstrate what this means for visitors: content can be presented in a more accessible way, delivered in up to 20 languages and communicated in a personalised manner – for example, through themed tours or open-ended questions that the AI answers directly. The talk will use several case studies and measurable KPIs to demonstrate how offerings can be made more inclusive and how frequently changing exhibitions can be presented at no extra cost – featuring, amongst others, the Vienna Secession, the Salzburg Museum and the Samurai Museum Berlin.
