A picture-sliding system or picture rack ensures that paintings and valuable artworks are stored safely. ArtStore offers professional solutions for the storage of paintings. The best-known options are mesh sliding walls, mesh pull-out units or picture racks. Here, the pictures and paintings are securely hung using hooks. Depending on the structural conditions and the handling requirements for your artworks, the mesh elements run on sets of rollers in rails, either as ceiling-mounted systems, floor-mounted systems, compact systems or as display storage units. The art storage systems, fitted with vibration- and shock-free linear guides or twin-axle trolleys with steel or plastic cladding, offer direct access to the artworks via their front-opening mechanism. Ceiling-mounted systems provide suspended storage, with the running rails fixed to the ceiling – they have the advantage of not coming into contact with the original floor at all. Systems with linear guides produce the lowest levels of vibration and emissions. Here, the mesh walls are suspended on precise slide guides.
