14/10/2026 MUTEC Award 2026: Twelve exhibition projects shortlisted Nearly 70 entries were submitted for the MUTEC Award 2026. The jury has now selected twelve projects for the shortlist. The MUTEC Award 2026 will be presented in Leipzig on 6 November. Three outstanding projects from the museum and exhibition sector will each receive prize money of €1,500. Continue reading

14/11/2024 MUTEC celebrates great success with new concept It wasn't just the separate exhibition hall that catapulted MUTEC, the international trade fair for museum and exhibition technology, to a new level this year. With 122 exhibitors from 21 countries, the internationality of the trade fair increased significantly this year. The content of the specialist program also gained content. 09/11/2024 denkmal & MUTEC 2024: Large number of visitors at anniversary The leading European trade fair denkmal, together with the parallel MUTEC, has once again proven itself to be the central international platform for the preservation and communication of cultural heritage. With 13,400 visitors, the trade fair duo continued its strong development and experienced noticeable growth - this was also evident in the two exhibition halls. 499 exhibitors from 26 countries met numerous interested, enthusiastic and innovation-hungry visitors. 04/04/2024 MUTEC 2024: More Space for Innovation and Inspiration A new hall concept, a more compact time frame and the usual wide-ranging exhibition and conference programme – these features and much more ensure this year's MUTEC will once again be a highly valued, must-attend event for international experts in museum and exhibition technology. For the first time, an entire hall at Leipziger Messe is to be dedicated to MUTEC. The additional exhibition space will be used for a new demonstration area and as always, visitors can look forward to a wide-ranging exhibition of innovative products, solutions and services for museums, science centres, archives, libraries, theatres and other cultural institutions. In the lighting room, exhibitors will be providing information on lighting for museums and the stage. At the two forums, attendees can also benefit from various lectures, panel discussions and seminars. Continue reading
