04/04/2024 MUTEC 2024: More Space for Innovation and Inspiration A new hall concept, a more compact time frame and the usual wide-ranging exhibition and conference programme – these features and much more ensure this year's MUTEC will once again be a highly valued, must-attend event for international experts in museum and exhibition technology. For the first time, an entire hall at Leipziger Messe is to be dedicated to MUTEC. The additional exhibition space will be used for a new demonstration area and as always, visitors can look forward to a wide-ranging exhibition of innovative products, solutions and services for museums, science centres, archives, libraries, theatres and other cultural institutions. At the two forums, attendees can also benefit from various lectures, panel discussions and seminars. Continue reading
06/07/2023 Where Cultural Heritage Meets Technology: Newly Designed MUTEC from 2024 The MUTEC international trade fair for museum and exhibition technology is preparing for the future and has been redesigned for the next edition. To keep pace with the growth experienced at previous events and the speed of innovation in the industry, MUTEC will no longer share an exhibition hall with the European leading trade fair denkmal, but move into the neighbouring hall. Furthermore, the event will be shortened at the request of many participants from the industry. Instead of taking place from Thursday to Saturday, MUTEC is scheduled for Thursday and Friday (7 and 8 November 2024). As usual, this is at the same time as denkmal. Cultural heritage preservation and information remain at the heart of the trade fair, with exhibits ranging from exciting technologies and products to innovative concepts. Attendees can look forward to professional conversations with international experts. Continue reading

"We've just experienced three intense days at the trade fair. You could really feel the enthusiasm of everyone there, every second of every day. Business relationships, expert discussions and personal meetings were the order of the day as MUTEC and denkmal impressively demonstrated how significant these trade fairs are as an international get-together for the entire industry", says a thrilled Markus Geisenberger, Managing Director at Leipziger Messe. This year, 473 exhibitors from 17 countries took part in the two trade fairs. Continue reading
