After completing an apprenticeship as an advertising clerk in Hamburg, Ilona Aziz studied sociology. Following the completion of her degree, she worked as a multimedia product manager at news aktuell GmbH / dpa Group. She has been a freelance consultant and producer since 2014, and since 2016 has been an editor at museumsfernsehen.de and a lecturer on further training courses at Visuell Kommunizieren GbR.

Our workshop offers a brief insight into video production and post-production using a smartphone. In video journalism, the smartphone is a common tool. Interviews, reports and on-the-spot soundbites are already being produced using it. What can museums learn from this? In our workshop, we’ll give you a concise introduction to producing your own content using a smartphone, a bit of technology and some know-how. We’ll discuss content formats, cover some technical aspects and explain the rules for production and post-production.
