Four museums, one centre – how ZimaK is reorganising the university collections (AT)

12:45 PM - 1:00 PM Tue, 06 Oct
Pitch Area (Hall 4, C12)

Short description

An Egyptian Museum, a Museum of Antiquities, a Museum of Musical Instruments and the Bibliotop: at the University of Leipzig, ZimaK brings its four most famous collections together under one roof. The pitch demonstrates how separate institutions can come together to present a unified front. It focuses on shared resources, cross-collection initiatives and new ways of engaging with the public. The result is a model that can be replicated by other university collections.
