Bettear RTX – Smart Auracast™ Transceiver and Media Player

The Bettear RTX is a smart, handheld Auracast™ transceiver and media player designed to deliver intuitive and flexible audio experiences. As a dedicated receiver, it provides seamless access to live or preloaded audio content — ideal for guided and self-guided tours, live voice broadcasting, on-demand content, and multilingual experiences in museums, visitor centers, educational settings, and other public venues.

Thanks to dual-mode operation, RTX works as both a receiver and a transmitter: its built-in 3.5mm TRRS jack supports headphones, headsets, neck loops, or microphones, letting users broadcast their own audio or play back content directly. It offers coverage of up to 50 meters with latency under 40 ms. Streams can be accessed via B-PASS, SmartHive, NFC, or beacons, making it easy to get started without any technical know-how.

A 2" TFT color display (240x320) with clear navigation and an RGB status LED keeps operation simple and intuitive. The powerful 1,400 mAh battery delivers up to 16 hours in receiver mode and 10 hours in transmitter mode, with convenient USB-C charging — the same port also works as a USB sound card for laptops, tablets, and smartphones. For large-scale professional deployments, RTX can be centrally managed and dispatched through a management system.
