MUTEC and DMB decide on cooperation

German Museum Association is going to play a much bigger role on MUTEC in the future. The cooperation will be expanded

“MUTEC has gained a strong partner in the German Museum Association,” says MUTEC project director Constantin Strobel. The cooperation represents a deepening of the DMB's activities at MUTEC. The DMB was already represented with a stand at the last MUTEC and provided important impetus for the specialist program. Strobel: "We are very pleased to be able to announce that the German Museum Association will play an even more important role at MUTEC next year. In addition to having its own stand in the halls of Leipzig Fair, the DMB will also be more closely integrated into the program. This expanded cooperation is of great importance to us, as it promotes dialogue within the museum landscape and further strengthens MUTEC as a platform for knowledge transfer and exchange. In this way, we are ensuring that the interests of the entire museum community will continue to be heard at MUTEC in the future.

DMB Managing Director Sylvia Willkomm agrees:

"As an international trade fair for exhibition and museum technology, MUTEC has established itself as an important platform for professional exchange. For many of our members, it offers an inspiring opportunity to learn about current technological developments and gain new ideas for museum work. From knowledge transfer and archiving to the sustainable preparation and implementation of exhibitions, MUTEC covers all the relevant topics in the museum world. Our decision to become a partner of MUTEC is based on our shared interest in advancing these topics. We look forward to working together and eagerly await MUTEC 2026."

Nothing stands in the way of a successful cooperation! Now it's even more important for you to mark November 5 and 6, 2026, in your calendar!
