About MUTEC

Central topics of the trade fair are museum technology and equipment, visitor services, media presentation, museum infrastructure as well as archiving and digitization. With this broad range of products and services, the trade fair is aimed at operators of museums and collections, exhibition venues, science centers, galleries, archives and libraries. It is also worth a visit for exhibition planners, architecture firms, consulting companies and museum restorers. The specialist program deals with current developments and challenges in the sector. MUTEC has been held alongside denkmal, the leading European trade fair for the preservation, restoration and renovation of historic buildings, since 2010 and has been organized by Leipziger Messe since 2016. In 2024, 499 exhibitors from 26 countries presented themselves at MUTEC, which together with denkmal attracted 13,400 visitors.
