When the museum reaches out to people – how robots are creating new ways to engage with the museum and delight visitors

How can museums reach visitors in a more targeted way, make it easier for them to find their way around, and make their educational programmes more personalised? Using a specific visitor journey as an example, this pitch demonstrates how social robots actively bring content to life within the space, and compares them with current digital educational offerings. It explores both the opportunities and the limitations – drawing on over four years of practical experience in cultural and educational institutions.
