Vita

Prof. Dr Friedrich von Borries (born 1974) teaches design theory at the Hamburg University of Fine Arts (HFBK). As a researcher and designer, he works at the socio-political intersections of architecture, design and art. He develops projects to enable people to discover, explore and experience through their senses different possibilities for themselves, their everyday lives, social interaction and the world around them.

Courage & Trust – Reshaping Collaboration

Joint conference organised by VERA and the Exhibitions Working Group of the German Museum Association

To kick off the conference organised by VERA and the Exhibitions Working Group, Friedrich von Borries will deliver a keynote address from a design theory perspective, focusing on the future viability of exhibition practice. The programme also features practical examples of successful collaborations and a joint discussion on the challenges and stumbling blocks relating to trust and courage in exhibition projects.
