International Day at the MUTEC-Forum on the Friday

    10/15/18 | 1:45 PM time

The Friday is our International Day at the MUTEC-Forum. In addition to three English lectures by international exhibitors, there will also be three German lectures that will translate into English simultaneously.

On the subject of accessibility and inclusion, Morten Ranmar from the Danish company No Parking Production gives a talk on "Tactile Museum Installation". Using examples of successful installations of tactile surfaces to enhance the interaction with visitors, principles of human interaction are discussed. The Danish designers are expert on user interfaces that feel natural and appealing, as well as durable and stable installations that withstand rough handling and interaction.

"The museum of the future" is the presentation of the AlfaVision BVBA from Belgium on the Friday. AlfaVision is the European leader in virtual and augmented reality solutions for museums and monuments. The speakers Els De Rooy and Hans Vandamme explain how visitor experiences can be enhanced by innovative technologies.

The French company biinlab shows in their lecture "Your resources are unique ... So share them!" how a digital mediation solution allows you to create all sorts of touchscreen apps. It lets you show all of your untapped resources to your visitors, in a simple, interactive way.

In addition, three German exhibitor presentations will be translated into English simultaneously. ERCO is dedicated to "Lighting and preserving conceptual approaches to museum lighting", Robotron Datenbank-Software shows "Artificial Intelligence in Image Search in robotron*Daphne" and Zeutschel provides information on "Realistic 3D presentation - the eye-catcher of your exhibition."
