MUTEC 2010 in Leipzig
MUTEC - the International Trade Fair for Museum and Exhibition Technology is being added to the Leipzig calendar of trade fair events in 2010. It will be held parallel to denkmal - European Trade Fair for Conservation, Restoration and Old Building Renovation, which is scheduled from 18th to 20th November.
Germany - country of museums
Museums are booming in Germany, during the last years more than 100 million visitors a year have been counted. Germany with its more than 8.000 museums is an ideal location for an international museum and monument technology trade fair. Especially during the current decade, a number of new institutions were opened – some of them spectacular projects of star architects.
Realising synergies
Two complementary shows in one venue - new and positive accents will be set for both exhibitors and visitors through this combination. An immense, complementary range of exhibits, saving of time due to only one date and venue, contacts with experts from all significant areas of museum work and conservation and the encounter with Leipzig Trade Fair’s partner country which is internationally renowned for restoration: Poland.
